You are interested in making money online as fast as you can for as little money as you can aren't you? Of course you are, why else would you be reading this article. Good news, I'll be sharing with you in this article a very easy, cheap and possibly quick way to profit online almost on autopilot. Maybe you've heard about it before. It's called affiliate marketing. Sound familiar? Don't worry if it doesn't I'll introduce you to it as painlessly as possible if this is the first time you've heard about it. So let's get started shall we.</p><p>In ordinary everyday English affiliate marketing is to be paid a commission for selling someone else's product/service. Just about everyone selling a product or service online can benefit from having someone else selling their product or service for them. Here's the catch to being successful at affiliate marketing though, you're not actually selling the product or service itself but you're actually just getting people to have a look at the product or service. Say what? Yes you read that right, you're not actually selling anything but rather you're just getting interested people in taking a look at the product or service. It's up to the owner of the product/service to convince that person looking at their product/service to actually give it a try. However, you as the affiliate marketer doesn't actually get paid until the interested person makes a buy. At least that's how it usually works in affiliate marketing, though there are owners of product/service who'll pay you just for getting interested people (called leads or prospects) to take a look at the owner's product/service.</p><p>Ok so I know what affiliate marketing is now. Great, now what? Well, you have to decide what kind of product/service it is you're going to be getting interested people in looking at to buy. This is called niche marketing. Simply put a niche is a very specific area in a general category. For instance say you're a sports fan, a nice niche within sports would be golf clubs, or golf carts, or golf wear (notice I didn't just say golf as golf itself, or any other sport for that matter, is a bit too broad). That's just an example in the category of sports. You can pick any category, preferably one you yourself are actually interested in and then find a niche within that category so you can then find products/services in that niche to get interested people to take a look at and even buy.</p><p>I'd like to mention a few words about your niche market products/services before I go any further. There are a lot of different products/services within any given niche so which products/services should you promote to interested people. That's a very good question. Depending on the percentage of the sale that would be paid to you as the affiliate, the price of the product/service itself, as well as whether that would be a one time payment or a recurring payment are all factors you want to consider when picking niche market products/services.</p><p>There's a lot more that can be said but because I don't want to bore you to death with too much information I'll just say that this is just the beginning. If you really want to make it online I suggest you find out as much as you can about affiliate marketing and how to do it successfully.
