One of the greatest inventions of the Weber Gas barbecue grill is the Genesis E-320 gas grill model. A fresh new look, packed with a great performance is the trademark of the Weber company. The grill is presented with an enclosed cart which is a combination of stainless-steel and painted-steel components. The grill is available in colors black, green and dark blue.
The Weber Genesis E-320 model has three burners which 42,000 BTU of cooking power plus an additional 12,000 BTU side burner. The cooking surface measures 19 x 26 which is then divided into two removable enameled cast-iron grates. This grill is outstanding for its heavy duty functionality. Yes, that's right. Each of the grates has a weight of 10.5 pounds and it is composed of 1/3-inch triangular rods spaced one inch apart. The rods can be tapered up that enables only ¼ inch of the enamel-coated surface to have a contact with the food being grilled. This is good for it decreases the chance of sticking once the grate is properly heated. The additional side burner is flush-mounted on the left side of the grill. The enclosed cart is spacious measuring 29x29 and approximately 21 inches tall. It acts as a support to the deep grill box resulting in an actual grilling height of 36 inches off the ground. The Weber E-320 has two painted steel doors along with a stainless-steel trim, a stainless-steel handle and a gray-painted side and rear panels. The hood is made of beautiful porcelain-enameled shroud which is enveloped between a gray-painted cast-aluminum end caps. The grill has a combination of a matte and glossy finish with a touch of stainless-steel. This feature makes the grill more stunning as ever. The grill also has a 1 and ¼ inch hood handle which stays cool during the whole process of grilling.
The new Genesis E-320 has an electronic igniter. It preserves the crossover system which happens by lighting one main burner that delivers the flame to the subsequent burners. One great change from the old genesis model is the positioning of the burner knobs. It is now located in the right-side of the shelf. This is quite a good advantage especially when you have little kids who have this funny habit of operating any switch or knobs available within their reach. It is also easy to see the dials without having to bend over. The only disadvantage of this model is that there is not much shelf space. The grill only has a 9-inch usable space on the right side of the shelf. This model still has the trademark of Weber which is the porcelain-enameled flavorizer bars which serves as the burner covers that distributes the heat equally and also vaporizes the food dripping.
Although the Weber's Genesis gas grill has been redesigned, still the new model retains the legendary look of Weber gas barbecue grills only with more abilities to look forward to. Genesis E-320 is the best for anytime grilling activity.
