Having a Hydrogen Generator in a car is an interesting idea and more and more people are starting to talk about it. Admittedly the benefits sound great; twice the mileage, less pollution, cutting gas costs in half. It's not an easy decision to make though, many of us have warrantees on our vehicles, we depend on them for work and other day to day necessities. No matter how good it sounds, I couldn't stop asking myself "Does it work?"

So, I bit the bullet and purchased an online e-book on how to do it. The conversion itself is not really that difficult and is very inexpensive, which is a benefit. At least, if I'm going to mangle my car, it wasn't expensive to do it. A quick trip to the hardware store took care of the needed parts. Pretty basic stuff really. As it started to come together it struck me that the conversion was even more simple to remove than it was to install. Within an afternoon I was ready to give it a try.

I'll admit that I was nervous when I first started up the car. The e-book seemed very well written and the information on how to build the hydrogen generator was very convincing, but I was still worried that it wouldn't work. I wasn't worried about the car exploding because the conversion uses water and electrolysis to convert HHO Gas directly before using it, then it turns back to safe and clean water after it has been used. I guess I had gotten so used to thinking of gas as my only source of fuel, with ethanol and other alternatives a distant and expensive goal, that I just couldn't believe I could get twice the mileage on a quart of water without some dire consequences.

I know, I know, you want to know what happened. The Hydrogen Generator worked like a charm! I've been using it ever since. I was honestly expecting a scam, an exaggeration of results, but that just is not the case. On top of getting 50-60% more mileage (which is awesome), the car seems to run much more efficiently (the performance improved almost immediately), the engine runs much more smoothly and quietly, and I no longer watch the rising gas prices in fear.

The name of the game here is disbelief. Just because we don't think it will work, that doesn't mean it doesn't work.
