I first came across the word Network Marketing in 2007. I was at work one day and with little to do I decided to have a peek in my Spam folder in G-mail. I opened an email and there it was with links telling me how I can earn thousands of dollars per day. Due to desperation for cash, my head start spinning and I must admit , it spins. I started thinking how easy it must be to start making some money online. So I decided to try it out. To be frank, not everything turns out the way I hoped, but I must admit that I have learned a lot and I enjoy doing it.

There are a few things that I came across and I would love to point that out to all the newbie and also some of my fellow internet marketers out there, they are as follows:

For those of us who enjoy misleading the customers: It would be great if we refrain from misleading customers by making false statements about our earnings. Too many times I came upon this. My question is why? If anyone have an answer for me, you can visit my blog and left me a note: see my blog at http://www.shoppinglounge.wordpress.com I understand that we all would love to make money, but my advise to you is, do not mislead people. It is understandable to know that if you just started 2 days ago, you could not have made $1,000,000.00.

I also know that the majority of the prospective customers when they see a list of payments in clickbank or PayPal, or a swarm of cheques , it will motivate them more to want to be apart of any program where they first saw proof of earnings. But I still say, we need to be fair. What those who are new to network marketing also need to realize is that though a product, and when I say product in this case, "I am referring to any particular Internet marketing business that one might be introduced to". Even if this product might not work wonders for someone, it does not mean that it will not work for you. The end result always depends on the individual attitude towards success. In other words what work well for you might not work for me and vice-versa.

For the newbies out there, who would love to start network marketing, my Advise to you is be careful, try not to be misled too easily, look for something genuine to work with, put all you got into it , be patient and it will work for you. There are so much scams out there, that I am now running out on the count. I just cant keep up with them. Now don't get me wrong, there are indeed genuine marketing plans out there , if you would like to see more just visit http://www.shoppinglounge.wordpress.com I am putting together some great packages. I am also planning to launch into exposing some of the scams out there in the future.

Lets look on what its like to be misled: I must first admit, its not a great feeling.

Three months ago, I saw an add about processing rebates from home. If you are living in the US or Canada, I am sure you know what a rebate is. However for those of you who don't, a Mail in rebate is similar to a discount. The difference with the rebate is that on the day of your purchase, you will pay the actual cost of the item and after, you would mail the receipt given by the store and they will send you a cheque with the rebate amount. Example, if you purchase a computer from a store costing $500.00, and they offer you a mail in rebate of $200.00, you will pay the cashier the whole $500.00 initially. After which you will mail the receipt to the address given, and then they will send you the $200.00. Now stores offer the mail in rebate to attract more customers and thus they make more sales and profit too. Now remember not all the customers will bother with mailing the receipt for that $200.00. You got me there.

Back to my experience, now that you got a hang on what a rebate is. I was of the impression that I would be one of those persons to process those rebates for customers of a few stores, I recalled the add mentioned that a number of stores require rebates processors. My fellow reader, I was shocked after paying the $97.00 of what it cost, only to find out that this marketer was asking me to get my own products to sell. It was Jaw dropping! Now this is some of what I am talking about being misled. Of all the misleading ads, I say this one puts the icing on the cake.

I have no problem where marketers keep back the best part until you pay, but I do have a problem with misleading statements.

Another advice to newbie's and Gurus alike: Whenever you want to try a new product of business, My advice to you is go to Google and do a search on the product by placing the word SCAM either before or after the persons name or the name of the product they are marketing. I recently purchase a wonderful product package http://www.thefortune39.com/uncover/julietfray.com Before I purchased it, I was hoping to find some blog with negative discussions going on about it. To my surprise, I did not. It cost me $39.00. What I enjoy more about the gallery is the great products. These products value *$213997.

There are thousands of products, if you ask me where the marketer get them from, all I can say is I don't know, but they are there, he must spent an entire year to get them all. There is a marketing potential to it also where you can sell the products for your own price if you like. For me, I won't be selling the products,. It's best to sell the gallery for the $39.00. In that way everyone wins. Thousands of people have purchased this gallery merely for the benefits of the products. I would be crazy to pass it up, even if the business potential to it was not great, I say, the products are.

To learn more about the fortune gallery you can visit the site at http://www.thefortune39.com/uncover/julietfray.com and after you are done viewing it, feel free to drop me a line at my blog farm. http://www.shoppinglounge.wordpress.com.
