"And this is what he says to all mankind; Look, to fear (respect) the Lord is true wisdom; to forsake evil is real understanding'." (Job 28:28 tlb)

There are two type of wisdom and mankind is capable of obtaining only one kind, human wisdom. Gods' wisdom is not for mankind.

"Everything is appropriate in its own time. But though God has planted eternity in the hearts of men, even so, man cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end."
(Ecclesiastes 3:11 tlb)

Seeing the whole scope of what God has done is far beyond mankind, as far as the east is from the west.

Gods' wisdom can not be found by searching, its location is unknown. He will give us insight or intuition into certain things to improve this life but true God wisdom, no, it's not for mankind.

God not only created the earth and the fullness thereof, He also created the universe and He is the only one who knows where this wisdom, His wisdom can be found.

It's admirable to want to seek wisdom and we should. The wisdom that Job is referring to is practical, it can be used on a daily basis that includes how to live a good and decent life which encompasses our relationship with God as well as our fellow man, staying away from evil, things of that nature. That's the wisdom that mankind has been blessed with.

Practical wisdom also comes in the form of creativity. That's how mankind has come from, caveman to computer man.

One creative idea from God can and has changed the world on many occasions.

There is only one inventor, there is only one writer, there is only one musician and there is only one creator, God. Knowing that is wisdom.

Look at the computer, the micro wave oven, the airplane, the television, electricity etc.

The necessary material to create these things has always been available it's just that the wisdom was not available.

"For God treats everyone the same."
(Romans 2:11 tlb)

He is no respecter of persons. If a person has an open mind and is actively seeking an answer and believe, the answer will come.

"Ask, and you will be given what you ask for, Seek, and you will find. Knock and the door will be opened. For everyone who asks, receives. Anyone who seeks, finds. If only you will knock, the door will open."
(Matthew 7:7&8 tlb) Now that's wisdom.

Nothing can be received with a closed hand or a closed mind. The open vessel will receive the gift, the gift of wisdom.
