Running a car on water is not exactly what we are talking about here. We are actually discussing the possibility of creating a fuel source from water to supplement the gas or diesel we already use, drastically increasing gas mileage. We also want to do this with an affordable DIY hydrogen generator that can be built for under $65.

I know this is possible because I have been doing it for several months now. The hydrogen generator I built alongside my 15 year old daughter has actually improved my gas mileage by about 25-30%.

I use a very simple device that was easy and affordable to build and actually creates a form of gas that is known as HHO, or Brown's gas. This gas burns very cleanly and much, much more efficiently than normal gas or diesel does.

It is easy enough to understand that water molecules are actually formed by atoms of oxygen and hydrogen, both being very flammable. While it is very difficult to separate two bonded hydrogen atoms, it is not at all difficult to break apart the much weaker bond of hydrogen to oxygen.

In fact, researchers and scientist have been doing this for nearly 100 years through a process known as electrolysis.

Oxygen and hydrogen stick together to form a water molecule because of their opposite charges. It makes since that if you apply a stronger set of opposite charges that the atoms would come apart and be attracted to the opposite charge.

We can submerse a set of electrodes, one with a positive charge and the other a negative, in a container of water, apply an electrical current, and actually begin to separate the water molecules into a gas that is a mixture of two bonded hydrogen atoms and an oxygen atom.

This gas is extremely fine, with a huge surface area allowing for easy combustion. Note I said combustion, not explosion. This is a very safe and stable gas that burns quite easily but does not explode.

This gas is then mixed with atomized fuel droplets, drastically increasing the surface are of the combined fuel source and allows it to combust more completely, therefore increasing overall efficiency.

Water contains an absolute ton of energy; three times as much as an equivalent amount of gasoline in fact. We can get at that energy with a homemade hydrogen generator and the awesome thing is, we can do it with parts found locally and for under $65.

You'll need a good guide to build the hydrogen generator and produce the HHO gas safely and in large enough amounts to improve gas mileage, but they are readily available and generally easy to follow. There are many different configurations and designs but they all operate off the same principle.

You may be asking yourself, if these hydrogen generators really increased gas mileage, why aren't they on every vehicle bought in America?

Simple economics really. The tax hungry government and big oil do not want you using less fuel or their revenues would go down. Automakers do not want to reduce the harmful deposits left in their engines do to incomplete fuel combustion, drastically reducing engine life and driving future car sales.

That's fine but they have never played fair. A lot of pressure was put on researchers who have tried to bring this technology to public awareness for the past three decades.

The current gas crisis has been too much for people to bare and the word is out about hydrogen generator technology and the idea of running your car on water, or at least the HHO gas created from water.

But just recently, the largest search engine on the planet banned companies specializing in this technology from advertising on their search engine, any water for gas or run your car on water products or instructional materials.

I believe they were paid off by someone with incredibly deep pockets. Imagine, living in a free country as long as those with the power and money determine what free actually means.

Well, until they completely throw out the first amendment, I will continue to do my part to spread the word through the use of articles. I imagine this too will soon be banned, but for now, you still have access to this amazing technology.

Yes, it is possible to run your car on water by building a hydrogen generator to produce HHO gas, inject it into your engine and drastically increase gas mileage, but don't wait to long before the powers that be bury this technology once again.
