Feeling good is the key to happiness. It has been shown that happy people live longer. They seem to not get sick as often as those who are not. When we are happy our emotional and physical needs are taken care of. This allows us to stay healthy inside and out. We can then genuinely share this happiness with those around us. Health is both a physical and emotional state of being. If one is out of balance it can disrupt the whole system. One must always be aware of their own energy and whether any part of their life needs tending to. Staying health is like gardening. You must check in each day a few times to be sure all is well and inspect all the details carefully if you want everything to grow right.

Young At Heart and Body

Part of staying young at heart and body is feeling good. Playing is an important part if life. Just because we grow up, have jobs, and responsibilities, does not mean we are no longer allowed to play. Playing is even more important when we are older. It allows us an outlet for stress and way to unwind after taking care of all the needs we have for our self and for our family. Playing keeps us young. Whether you choose to go out every day or once a month, you always need to make time for you. Feeling good helps us stay sane in a rather crazy world.

Massage Therapy

The art of touch is very amazing. Massage therapy offers us a way to have both physical and emotional release. We are all creatures that thrive on touch. To keep babies alive and emotionally sound, we must touch them all the time. Once we are adults the need does not go away. Many times we forget how good being touched for the sake of touch can feel. Feeling good produces chemicals that heal and sooth the body. Through massage, one can relax, release, and heal. Studies have shown that people who frequently receive massage have lower blood pressure, less illness, and are generally healthier than those who do not.

Loving Who You Are

One of the most important needs we have is loving our self. Feeling good starts with self-satisfaction. Without it we tend to second-guess our needs and ourselves. You have to love who you are. If you do not, then you can take many steps to fix these things one by one. If you want to lose weight, you can diet or adopt a new eating plan. Exercise can also help you sculpt your body into what you want. No matter what it is you want to change, you can do it over time and piece-by-piece to ensure that you are satisfied with you. When you love who you are, you will live a much more fulfilling life and will be able to share one better with those you love. Change might seem scary at first, but it is always for the better.
