Terms of Service for Authors

As an author who is to submit your articles to My Free Article Central, you must conform to the Terms of Service below:

  1. You must be the original author of the articles or an authorized agent appointed by the original author to submit the articles to our site.
  2. If you are an article submission agent, you must create a separate account for each of the original author. We will disable your account if you try to submit all your authors' articles under one generic account.
  3. You give us unconditional permission to publish your article on our website, republish it on others' websites, or redistribute it to other audiences via RSS, Ezines, newsletters, print publications, etc.
  4. There is no guarantee that your article will be published. Even if it is published, we reserve the right to remove your article at any time for any reason. We also reserve the right to disable your account at any time for any reason.
  5. We reserve the right to change your article's category at our own discretion.
  6. We reserve the right to publish ads (either text or image) along with your article.
  7. We reserve the right to edit, add, or remove affiliate links in the body or Resource Box of your article.
  8. We reserve the right to edit, add, or remove any part of your article.

Below are our Editorial Guidelines:

  1. You cannot submit articles that you copied from the Internet. Since all articles will be reviewed by humans, we will disable your account if we determine that you are not the sole owner of your articles.
  2. Your article cannot be a press release, advertisement, sales letter, or promotional copy.
  3. Your article must not contain pornography/adult material, hate or violence-oriented, suggest racial intolerance, advocate against any individual or group, have insulting, obscene, degrading tone, or contain excess profanity.
  4. Your article must not contain any content that is a violation of any law, be considered defamatory, libelous, or infringes on the legal rights of others.
  5. Your article must not contain excessive self-serving links. You are allowed to include only 2 self-serving links in the body of the article and 2 self-serving links in the Resource Box.
  6. Your must not submit the same article to our site more than once. We will disable your account if you are caught submitting duplicate articles with only a few words changed in the content.
  7. You are encouraged to use HTML tags in your article. If you include images in your article using the <IMG> tags, make sure the image has a width that is less than 560 pixels. Your article will be rejected if it contains an image that is greater than 560 pixels in width.
  8. You are not allowed to change the font size of your article using HTML tags like <H1> or <Font Size="x">. We will reject your articles if you attempt to change the font size.
  9. No JavaScripts are allowed in your article.
  10. Your article must contain at least 2000 characters. It cannot exceed 1,000,000 characters.
  11. You are allowed to have up to 2 live links in the body of your article. You must use the Anchor tag <a href="...."> </a> to turn your URL into a live link.
  12. Resource Box is used for authors to tell the readers about themselves. You can put anything about yourself or your company in the Resource Box. Since HTML is allowed in Resource Box, you can put your website link there as well. The content of the Resource Box cannot be more than 600 characters long.
  13. You are allowed to have up to 2 live links in the Resource Box. If you do not use the Anchor tag <a href="...."> </a> to turn your URL into a live link, we will convert it for you automatically as long as you place "http://" in front of your URL. Please note that this auto-conversion feature is available in the Resource Box only (not in the body of your article).
